A Stronger Parish, A Stronger Community: Why Renovating Our Parish Hall Matters At St. Gabriel’s Parish, we’ve always been more than a place of worship — we’re a place of belonging, growth, and service. Since our founding in 1962, our parish has been a vibrant, multi-cultural community hub with Masses and devotions in both English and Polish, and a growing roster of ministries for families, youth, and adults. Our parish hall is the backbone of this community life — where friendships are formed, faith grows, and connections flourish. But to realize the full potential of our ministry and outreach, it’s time to update and renew this vital space. Expanding Programming for Kids and SeniorsWith an updated, modern parish hall, we’ll be able to:
Create more space for children’s programs, including expanded options beyond Children’s Liturgy, youth groups, and faith formation activities that already meet here weekly. (St. Gabriel's Church)
Offer dedicated programming for seniors, such as social gatherings, wellness workshops, and faith-based support groups that help older adults stay connected and engaged in community life.
These programs foster growth, belonging, and mutual support — building stronger families and inter-generational connections in Burlington. A Welcoming Venue for Community GroupsSt. Gabriel’s parish hall is already a valued meeting place for local groups including:
Scouts and Polish Scouts (Harcerze) — nurturing leadership, teamwork and service in youth.
AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) — offering life-changing support and hope to people from all walks of life.
With a renovated hall, we can host even more community organizations, provide safe shared space for mutual-aid groups, and compassionately support diverse local needs. Strengthening Our Mission TogetherA refreshed parish hall isn’t just a building improvement — it’s an investment in: 🌟 Community health — by providing inclusive, accessible space for people of all ages. 🌟 Faith and formation — by expanding programs that help people grow spiritually, socially, and emotionally. 🌟 Neighbourhood connection — by welcoming groups and events that bring Burlington residents together. Every coffee morning, youth meeting, seniors’ gathering, and community support group thrives in spaces that are warm, welcoming, well-equipped, and safe. Renovating our parish hall ensures St. Gabriel’s remains a place where faith and friendship flourish together. Fr. Paul Patrick www.saintgabrielchurch.com
